Games developer Bulkhead Interactive engaged Smart Studio to build a medium-large mixing room in their open-plan office in Derby, UK.

Bulkhead Interactive is a group of game development studios based in Derby, United Kingdom and Munich, Germany. The studio is currently continuing development of its hit back to basics First Person Shooter ‘Battalion 1944’​ on Steam. Bulkhead Interactive is made up of Bulkhead Phoenix (UK) and Bulkhead Darkhorse (DE). Bulkhead previously developed the hit first person puzzler “The Turing Test”​.

The office was not going to be closed for works. Smart Studio was installed without any disruption to give Bulkhead a best in the class audio facility and helping further establish the reputation of one of the UK’s fastest-growing games developers.
