The Edit, Brighton
The Edit is Brighton’s longest established television post production facility. They engaged Smart Studio to design and install and ATMOS compatible mixing room in 2021.
The facility is up and running today and was delivered on time and budget despite difficult circumstances with the pandemic and Brexit.
The project comprised of the manufacture, supply and installation Smart Studio mixing room as per the agreed layout. Smart Studio supplied the complete studio envelope, including design measures to isolate each of the rooms’ structural floor.
The standard electrical fit-out included a technical power circuit for all audio equipment, including desk, outboard and speakers. House mains circuit per room for a double wall mounted three-pin sockets; dimmable control recessed light circuits per room.
